James C. Quirk, Sr.
November 3, 1926 - January 26, 2012

We Remember with Gratitude . . .
Our parish community mourns the passing of a beloved servant of God - James C. Quirk, Sr.  As Sacristan of our church, Jim generously gave of his time and talent in making certain that all the liturgical details of our church were addressed.  This included robes, wine and bread and their containers (for use in communion), silverware (like the chalice), candles and candle holders, sanctuary lamps and so on. Every day, Jim made sure that the required items for the service(s) were available and placed exactly where they needed to be.  His attention to detail never went unnoticed, especially during the busy days of the Triduum and Easter.  As coordinator of the Usher/Hospitality Ministry, Jim made certain that our church was opened, ready and welcoming for all of our parishioners and visitors. Jim served on many of our parish committees and was always a key participant in our parish events. He was a friend to many and will be missed.

Jim's family is in our prayers and we thank them for sharing his life with us.
